I keep my blog as a personal record of what I'm up to, which might be seen as working towards "An elegant sufficiency, content, retirement, rural quiet, friendship, books, ease and alternate labour, useful life"

I'm certainly not there yet.  There is quite some way to go!

Little boxes

Finding homes for stuff and getting it all put away always takes me longer than I think.  Partly it’s because I like to savour things, to look closely at new stuff and enjoy being a new owner.

Whilst we were in Cargo, Portland, I couldn’t help but get a couple of these small tins.  What better description of the kind of stuff that will find its way into this one?

The detail is great, too!

The second one looks a bit more conventional, until you turn it over

Again, the detail is sweet.

So, amidst all the tidying, sorting, clearing, the journal is done.

I’m almost up to date.

Love the boxes Gill. Nice find!
I 'specially like the look of the journal though. What lovely memories for you.

Love the tins, just what a certain gift shop could do with.
First one reminds me of a get well card we have atm - in lovely collaged letters it says 'Feeling Crap?'

Unfortunately, I am unable to view your photos of June 9, 27 and 28 on your An Elegant Suffiiciency 365 blog. They come up with a blank entry with a red cross (as though they had been viewed before) on those dates - the first time I have seen it on any blog I read.
