In the blink of an eye

I made a book for a dear friend, moving to pastures new.

Visited Ironbridge for the first time

and discovered a great shop with a wealth of simple treasures to covet.

Asked the question “that canal boat lift must be near here somewhere” approximately four miles away from the Anderton Boat Lift, making last Friday a day full of engineering marvels.

We’ve been to the seaside.

Paid homage to a comedian whose feet are now standing in a few inches of sand

but whose hands are beautifully sculpted.

We’ve enjoyed a bit of culture at the Royal Exchange

enjoying the company of friends whilst watching the heartbreaking  events unfold in Japan.

Since then, I’ve slept in West Suffolk, too.

 

Can a week really have flown by so quickly?
