Poor start

No more than ten minutes after I posted that last entry and picked up three neat balls of yarn to go and cast on, I read the pattern.

"Four strands of yarn are used throughout"

do you need me to go get another skein or whatever? Remind me exactly what it was and I will get it.. I can't BELIEVE you only have 3!! I remember some of the words involved in winding it...

Jordi, you make a kind and generous offer to inflict another skein of that yarn on an unsuspecting world.

Suffice to say, thanks - but no thanks! I have re-re-re-wound and now have four balls not three.

I might even be tempted to trade it in return for that lovely green animal of a yarn you gave me...
